Sugar University Training

Sugar University has gone through a small revamp and now has divided their training into three major sections:

Your Slam Dunk on User Adoption

Sugar User Group Q&A

What if I don’t need all of that functionality?

That’s absolutely fine. You can have mobile access to whichever add-ons for Sugar you currently have a subscription to.

Do the add-ons support multiple languages? Does wMobile support multiple languages?

At this time, no. The add-ons only include English language support.

When using wMaps, are you able to modify your route list "on the fly"?

Yes. From the map interface, you can drag the order of your stops in a different order. You also have the ability to add or remove records from your route list after you initially generated it.

Does wDocs work with all of the out-of-the-box modules or just accounts?

It works with all of the out-of-the-box and custom Sugar modules. wDocs includes very customizable document templates that we build or we can provide you with the instructions to build out.

What happens if I download the wMobile app but I don’t have any of the add-ons?

You can do that but it will have the same basic functionality as the standard SugarCRM Mobile app. The main benefit you get from our application is to be able to use these Sugar enhancements on mobile.

How much is wMobile for SugarCRM?

We don’t actually charge anything for the app itself—anyone with a Sugar license can download the app and configure it to their instance. What we charge is for the wDocs, wMaps and Custom Buttons (part of wTools) add-ons. Those are the items that you would purchase rather than the application itself.

Do Custom Buttons only give quick access to wDocs and wMaps?

Custom Buttons offer shortcuts for various actions in Sugar. For instance, when sending a referral, we can set up a shortcut button to send out that referral from Sugar to another business unit or another person. It could also be just a shortcut for adding a new contact for an account record. They’re user-friendly configurable buttons that trigger actions in Sugar.

What is the release cycle for wMobile?

We will release new wMobile for Sugar updates as quickly as possible after SugarCRM releases updates for their standard mobile app and the SDK.

Can you talk about the future DocuSign features for the app?

Sure. A future wMobile update will allow you to select documents from your Sugar instance and have them sent with DocuSign with just a few taps. We are, however, aiming to have feature-parity with our desktop version of the Sugar Connector to DocuSign.
