W-Systems Participates In Code Sprint At SugarCRM Headquarters

by Amanda Anderson on December 7, 2010

During the week of November 29th, SugarCRM hosted a code sprint at their U.S. headquarters in Cupertino, C.A. and at their Munich Germany location. This event was the first code sprint where SugarCRM channel partners were invited to participate.

W-Systems was excited for the opportunity to contribute to the product we work on daily for our clients. W-Systems' Software Engineer, James McGirr, flew in for the event in California to work side-by-side with Sugar's software engineers, quality assurance, and support teams. The code sprint takes place a couple of times a year and brings everyone together to collaborate on creating new features and fixing any bugs that may exist.

While there was a lot of heads-down coding taking place, it wouldn't be a trip to California without some sightseeing and fun. The software engineers took a break to venture out around the city on Go Carts.

"For something we work on so closely, it was nice to finally meet the Sugar team in person. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed my time there," said James.

W-Systems values the partner relationship with SugarCRM and we were happy to contribute our experience and creativity to the SugarCRM code sprint. Collaborating with the Sugar team and continuing the momentum and success of the CRM product benefits our customers by providing a better, more intuitive solution for their business.
