SugarCRM Honors W-Systems with Two Leadership Awards at SugarCon 2014
This week a few members of the W-Systems team are in San Francisco for SugarCon 2014. SugarCon is SugarCRM’s annual user conference and trade show. This year the event is hosted at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco with an estimated 1,000 attendees.
SugarCRM's partner day was held on April 28th, the day before the official conference opened up to customers. During the partner sessions, SugarCRM highlighted a few key partners in each region around the world. W-Systems was awarded the 2013 Regional Leader Award for North America. Of the 215 SugarCRM partners globally, W-Systems was awarded the Global Leadership award as well.
SugarCRM is the core focus of our engineering department and it means a lot to our team to be viewed as a leader in the Sugar community. SugarCon is always a great event for us to learn, meet new companies and to see our customers. This year we have more than 35 of our customers attending SugarCon.
W-Systems is also one of the six finalists in SugarCon’s App Throwdown. The App Throwdown is a competition among engineers and technology firms to present their app for SugarCRM. Dozens submitted an application and only six were chosen to present today during the final event at SugarCon. W-Systems’s app is a mobile-friendly portal with an integrated shopping cart for SugarCRM. The portal enables a company’s customers, vendors, or contractors to interact with the CRM. The customers can input data, purchase items from Sugar’s product catalog and gain transparency into relevant CRM data.
In March of 2014, W-Systems was named a SugarCRM Three-Star Platinum partner for being among the top Sugar partners to achieve the top 10 percent in revenue for 2013. The Three-Star Platinum award was given for demonstrating a commitment to SugarCRM by actively participating in the partner program over a number of years and delivering significant customer success.
It has been a great year so far for the W-Systems team thanks to our great customers and partners. We'll have more info on the App Throwdown results as the conference wraps up later today and will post a follow-up blog post on our app submission.
