SugarCRM today announced it continues to gain industry recognition for its Sugar product portfolio—this time with industry awards from CRM Magazine, where they pick the top 5 contenders in 10 categories.
We were really happy to see that SugarCRM had a very strong showing and was named a “Leader” in three categories — “Enterprise CRM Suite,” “Midmarket CRM Suite” and “Small Business CRM Suite” — as well as the “One to Watch” in the “Sales Force Automation” category.

In addition to these awards, architectural and engineering group Redglaze Group received the 2014 CRM Elite title with its Sugar deployment. In the “Open-Source CRM” category, SugarCRM took the coveted “Winner” title, indicating the highest overall score compared with its peers. SugarCRM has, in fact, been the industry leader every year that the open-source category has been included. According to Brent Leary, cofounder and partner of CRM Essentials and one of the many analysts and experts consulted in the DestinationCRM.com awards, “Even though SugarCRM has moved beyond being viewed solely as open-source CRM to being a leader in the industry in general, they are still the measuring stick if you want an open-source solution."
