The last day of SugarCon started off with Dr. Catriona Wallace’s keynote “When Customers Take Charge: Transforming CRM to a Segment of One,” where she discussed the rise of digital and how it is transforming customers, not just businesses.
Other keynotes included:
Remy Malan, Chief Customer Office – SugarCRM: Creating a Best-In-Class Customer Success Strategy
Giles House, CMO – CallidusCloud: Disrupt or be Disrupted
The highlight of Wednesday’s keynotes was with Rich Green, SugarCRM’s new Chief Product Officer, who demonstrated Sugar’s vision for CRM by showcasing what is possible when the Sugar Intelligence Service is combined with artificial intelligence and intelligent agent technology.
His demonstration introduced “Candace,” an AI-powered intelligent agent that guides and assists users in interactions with customers, helping to plan more meetings, build deeper connections, recommend best actions, and respond to late-breaking developments as relationships evolve.
Erik Fenna from P&N Bank in Western Australia discussed how they have leveraged the Sugar platform to build a more inclusive review of the customers as well as managing key points of the customer lifecycle.
We will do a deeper dive of the information that we extracted from this session in a later post.
At the Sugar Lab, we were able to have some hands-on experience with upcoming Sugar features including the new mobile capabilities, Advanced Workflow's new enriched UI and Sugar's new email experience.

At the Global Partner Awards, we were one of the recipients of the Sugar Competency Award, which was awarded to partners with over 20+ Sugar Certifications (not an easy feat!).
