The second day of SugarCon 2016 was jam-packed with lots of exciting activities including general and track sessions.
Opening Keynote: Transform Relationships
This morning Larry Augustin and Clint Oram kicked off the conference with their keynote Transforming Relationships - Four Ingredients for Success (with Larry) and the Transformation Demonstration (with Clint).
Larry discussed the current disruption in the market and how the buyer behavior has changed (57% of purchase decisions happen before a customer calls the supplier according to McKinsely & Company, 2010). With that being said Larry discussed the four transformation ingredients for success:
Clint then discussed revealed some of the new features that are coming to Sugar including the Customer Journey Plug-In which has two unique features: a Customer Decision Indicator chart, which displays the individual customer's stages throughout the entire decision journey, and an advanced Customer Decision Workflow Panel, which quickly describes every task or action the user must complete in order to help a customer advance to the next decision stage. The result is a streamlined process that synchronizes all customer-facing activities, from marketing and sales through onboarding and renewal.
SugarCRM Mobile has gone through an overhaul with deep link integration, new UI design and a Mobile SDK with new APIs and an extensible CRM mobile platform enabling custom field types, validations, dashlets, buttons and actions, views and authentication.
Representatives from IBM, Sands China, Mazars and UNIFIN were an amazing panel of experts to discuss the market dynamics driving their own business transformations. During the keynote they shared insights and experiences using Sugar to re-tool global sales teams, streamline customer care, and create personalized guest and retail experiences.
