Yes, you have the option to create a new contact record or a new lead record for Sugar.
This integration is great for any customer-facing employee. The primary use cases are for inside sales teams, customer support, call center environments but other departments can benefit from this functionality as well.
Regardless of when you make a call or a call comes in, if there’s one number applied to more than one contact, a pop-up appears where you can click on the name, and it will show a dropdown of the many people that are tied to that particular number. You can then select that individual contact that you are looking for.
If the number is not tied to anyone, you can add that contact to the number.
From your iPhone, download Vonage’s Mobile Connect app, that is your connection between the two platforms. You’ll have the same functionality from the Vonage Suite - like launching or receiving calls.
You can see both your calls and your notes being recorded into Sugar on the contact record in the Calls and Notes subpanels. You can also see from the Vonage Integration Suite that your notes are added to Sugar as well.
For more information, don’t hesitate to contact us. We are happy to reach out to anyone interested in seeing more a customized demo of Sugar with the Vonage integration.
