Typically, the Vonage Communication System is rolled out for the entire company. There may be businesses with multiple divisions and they might pick one to do an initial integration. The teams that improve their productivity significantly by using the integration tools Vonage offers are usually sales teams, call center teams, and customer service teams.
All the calls are being recorded in the CRM system that you’re using. When a call comes into your device when you’re using the Vonage connectivity, the integration is very easy and it takes about three minutes to be set up and running.
Companies may or may not use a CRM system. But because everybody is using email, Vonage built a tool so that, when a call comes in, you can connect it to your contacts in Gmail and populate the phone numbers with your contacts in Google G Suite. You’ll have a record of everything you’ve done in Gmail and you can search and find records very easily with this integration. This is a great tool for a company that has chosen to not have a CRM system, but you still need to log and record incoming calls.
In the Vonage integration for CRM systems, you can log multiple names for a main phone number displayed as Multiple Contacts. By clicking on Multiple Contacts, you will have a dropdown list of names of who are tied to that phone number and you can easily click on that name or you can enter a new name if you talked to somebody new.
