Announced at SugarCon 2017, SugarCRM’s new Mobile SDK (software development kit) enables developers to extend Sugar Mobile functionality beyond what is possible out of the box. Now, SugarCRM customers can quickly and easily build customizations for Sugar Mobile, akin to what can be done today for the Sugar desktop experience. With the launch of this SDK, companies can now develop purpose-built mobile applications for individuals, roles, and teams to make the mobile experience more productive for their employees.
The mobile SDK’s formalized, public APIs and guidelines will help developers extend Sugar Mobile in an upgrade-safe manner. SugarCRM has done the heavy lifting so customers do not need to build their own applications from scratch. In a nutshell, you can extend the mobile app in a fraction of the time it would take to start from scratch.
