W-Systems' customization piece for some clients included creating custom fields in Sugar to sync with custom fields created in a HubSpot form. When a web form is completed, a lead is created in Sugar with its associated form data. For existing leads, the information in Sugar is updated using email comparison. W-Systems' engineers also have the ability to sync form submissions with other modules and aren't limited to the leads module.
With W-Systems' customizations and the integration between HubSpot and SugarCRM, users can take advantage of:
- Web To Lead Forms: Integrates form data with fields in SugarCRM and creates a new lead with new form submissions and updates existing ones.
- Track Prospect's Activity On Your Website: Page views and website activity is shown in the lead detail view in SugarCRM.
- Nurture Leads: Leads with a status of "nurture" will automatically sync with the lead nurturing program in Hubspot.
- Reach Tracking Tool: Analyze your reach via your blog, leads, Facebook account and Twitter account and connect through to those social media sites and to your HubSpot profile from inside SugarCRM.
The HubSpot API recently developed the ability to complete the loop, which enables information to be pushed in both directions. For example, when a lead in Sugar is converted to an opportunity, that information is pushed back to HubSpot.
