Questions & Answers

  1. Q: Does this work with all versions of GoldMine?
A: Absolutely, even the non SQL versions of GoldMine.

  2. Q: What are the benefits of using Google over DejaOffice?
A: Google is a bit simpler while DejaOffice is a lot more robust. As long as you have any Google Account, we take the GoldMine data, place it in Gmail, and as long as that Gmail account is already connected to your phone, the data is gonna show up without anything else happening on your phone. It's going to work on 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi.
DejaOffice was designed specifically to handle a database information to offer you more feel, a better sorting, a better grouping, overall a more complete set of your data than you would get from something simpler - such as Google, where you can only populate the fields that Google gives you to work with.

  3. Q: Does CompanionLink work in reverse, for example, can you schedule an appointment in Google Calendar and have it appear in GoldMine?
A: Yes, you can. And with the filters, you can set items that come in from a different Google account to a specific user; that way not every user in your GoldMine sees your specific information, events or contacts.
