  1. Q: Can you access this information and edit from mobile devices?
    A: Yes, most modern CRM systems come with a mobile client, including Sugar. Whether you have an iOS and Android phone, you can get the SugarCRM Mobile app and access your Sugar instance and have real-time access to all of your data. You can create interactions, look up information that's in the system, and it has a mobile-friendly interface.
     
  2. Q: What is the history behind the name “SugarCRM” and “Sugar”?
    A: Inevitably, we get that question. When SugarCRM was founded about ten years ago, one of the founders was an avid mountain biker, and he had a Gary Fischer Sugar bike. When they came up with the business plan, after they just came back from a good mountain-biking ride up in Marin County, they decided to call it SugarCRM. We get a lot of jokes about Sugar, "being sweet," but that's the story of how SugarCRM came to be.
