Questions & Answers
Q: How do managers use Sugar?
A: Managers typically use Sugar to access reports on the people they’re managing. For a sales use case, it could be pulling the forecast, a commission report, or receiving alerts based on a support agent not resolving a case. Sugar is a great tool that helps managers mainly by use of reporting and by receiving alerts and notifications that are important to them.
Q: Why is Sugar the product that you recommend?
A: W-Systems recommends Sugar because it’s modern and very flexible CRM that can be configured to meet almost any use case, it has an open API architecture. It’s written in standard code, so it’s made to integrate with other applications and be a central hub for a business’ operation.
Q: If I have data in other systems, should I integrate those with Sugar?
A: Yes, that is always an option and Sugar is the perfect application for that.
In accounting for example, we often deploy Sugar with accounting information so that reps and account managers can see all the revenue on that account for the year, any amounts due or aging amounts.
As long as we have an API web-point to connect to, we can bring that information into Sugar to enhance whatever business processes it’s a part of.
Q: How often does Sugar update their product?
A: On a regular basis. SugarCRM is constantly working on enhancing their product, puts a lot of time and energy into it and the update schedule rolls out once a quarter.
Q: What should I do if I want to learn more about Sugar?
A: We hope Sugar peaks your interest and we’re happy to engage and discuss any impossible CRM project on the horizon with you.
