Absolutely—in fact, you can add the Comment Log field to Contacts now if you’re using Sugar 9. If you’re an administrator, all you need to do is add the Comment Log to the Contacts layout, since the field already exists in the module.
“Now” refers to features coming to Sugar Summer ‘19, which is due for release in July. “Next” refers to content coming out in a 3-9 months timeframe. “Future” includes features currently being researched and planned for release in a 9-18 months timeframe.
SugarCRM offers a wealth of training sessions and product resources, including the Sugar University and the Sugar Support Site. With that being said, SugarCRM does leverage their partners, such as W-Systems, to help customers get onboarded and go beyond Sugar’s out-of-the-box features with customizations and additional configuration.
Yes. There is a great article written by Matt Marum, SugarCRM’s Director of Product Management. In it, Matt demonstrates how Sugar’s API performance is significantly improved compared to Sugar 8.
Over the past year, SugarCRM has added over 110 out-of-the-box reports in Sugar and over 60 report chart dashlets ranging across all Sugar modules. The new reporting interface should streamline the report building process, and include new ways to visualize your reports’ data.
GDPR and data privacy regulations are continuously evolving and SugarCRM’s goal as an organization is to deliver the richest information they can around prospects and contacts while making sure to respect personal privacy, and SugarCRM is looking into applying the same data privacy concepts to their Hint service.
Sugar Summer ‘19 is planned for release in July 2019. We’ll share more information with you as we get close to that date.
We recommend reaching out to us and we will help you address this issue.
We don’t have anything to share at this moment, but if you’re looking to update some visual elements of Sugar’s interface, including the Navigation Bar’s color and logo, we recommend taking a look at our customization for Sugar. If you’re interested to use it in your Sugar instance, reach out to us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We can’t share a release date at the moment, but SugarCRM is heavily invested in updating Collabspot to support Office 365.
As you may know, Collabspot has been acquired by SugarCRM, and is now directly delivered and supported by SugarCRM.
SugarCRM is looking to deliver Marketing Automation to its customers by way of an acquisition. We can’t share more details beyond that at the moment.
