Infrastructure Changes
wMobile 2.0 has been updated to support the latest Microsoft standards and platforms. wMobile is now fully 64 bit compliant and supports the latest .NET 3.5 framework and Windows 2008 64 bit servers.
wMobile installers have been updated to be more intelligent about the web server environment the application is going into.

SSL Mail and Gmail Support
wMobile now supports encrypted email SSL protocols for more secure email management and support for Gmail accounts. Gmail in increasingly popular as a business email host performing email services for GoldMine and Outlook clients. wMobile now fully supports this platform.

Opportunity Management
wMobile support full opportunity management with complete view and editability of all Opportunity information elements including influencers, linked documents, issues, multiple item forecasts, pending and history activities.

Support for alarmed activities
When a user has alarmed activities an alarm flag is shown within the wMobile user interface directing the user to the alarmed activities.

Email Attachments
wMobile users can now email any document that has been linked to a CRM contact. If a contact wants a emailed quotation or copy of a contract, this is now possible from your mobile device.

Customizable Contact Screen
The wMobile system can be further customized to include any user defined or standard CRM field in the main wMobile contact record view and contact related page header. This makes key information visible at a glance.

Clone current contact to new record
When entering a new contact record a previously viewed contact record can be cloned to save time and keystrokes.

File email to other contact without re-linking email address
wMobile users can now file an email to a related contact without re linking the email address to the new contact.

Improved One-Click login setup
It is now simpler to create one click login URL's for new users

HTML Email Support
For devices that can display rich HTML, wMobile emails can optionally be shown as HTML instead of the standard text based messages.

Version 1.9 adds the ability to retrieve documents stored in the central CRM system on users mobile devices. Version 1.9 also adds the ability to work with new one-to-many detail records, delivers simplified user interfaces, email client enhancements and numerous customer requested functionality enhancements.
With central document support a wMobile customer can enable remote users access to any customer related document on their mobile phone. User can browse documents by type and easily retrieve documents such as customer quotes for viewing on their mobile phone. RAMSEY, N.J., Jan. 31 -- W-Systems announced today that
the latest version 1.7 of wMobile includes a series of significant
enhancements, including a complete built-in email center, which enables
mobile users to process all inbound and outbound email with full
integration with their organizations backend CRM system.

wMobile is a mobile telephone client for the popular GoldMine CRM
system and its new functionality solves the traditionally difficult problem
of how to record mobile email correspondence into an organizational CRM
system.

The latest version of wMobile enables email to be automatically linked
to the matching GoldMine contact record and filed in contact history. Users
can view attachments in received email on the mobile device (with an
appropriate reader) and the attachment can also be filed to GoldMine and
associated with the email on the contact record.
